Old picture from the Victorian / Edwardian
era of St. Georges Hall in Liverpool. Work on building the hall
was started in 1842 and was opened to the public in 1854. The Hall has one of the greatest brick arches in the world and houses a priceless mosaic floor of 30,000 tiles.
One of the horse drawn buses has a destination of Bootle on
display and shows an advertisement for Sanitas best of all Disinfectants.
