Old Photograph of Southport Pier

Old picture from the Victorian / Edwardian era of Southport Pier. The pier is the 2nd longest in the UK and work was started on building it during 1859 at a cost of over £8000. One of the signs on the side reads "Latchless Metal Polish"  Aerial map of the view
