Old picture from the Victorian / Edwardian era of Torrington railway station & Rothern Bridge. The railway station opened in July 1872 and closed in March 1966. The old station house is now called the Puffing Billy Pub. In the far distance you can just make out a couple of steam engines and carriages in the station Aerial map of the view
